Job Title: Scala Developer Job Location: Montreal, Canada Capgemini is seeking a candidate with solid experience in Scala, Spark, Hive, and Hadoop to join our team of IT professionals. Responsibilities: Design, analyze and organize raw data. Build data systems and pipelines. Conduct complex data analysis and report on results. Combine raw information from different sources. Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability. Find opportunities for data acquisition. Develop analytical tools and programs. Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects. Required Skills: Unix and Shell Scripting. Exposure to Git and Jenkins CI/CD pipeline. Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role Technical expertise with Spark with scala, Hive, Hadoop Knowledge of programming languages like Scala and basic Java Unix Shell scripting, Jenkins Pipeline Hands-on experience with basic SQL and hive query language.
