Key Responsibilities: MIG Welding: Perform MIG welding on mild steel, working with materials ranging from 20 gauge to 1-inch thickness. High-Quality Fabrication: Produce accurate, durable components following detailed instructions and specifications. Certification Support: Standard Iron supports you in achieving certifications, such as D1.1 GMAW and D1.3 GMAW, as part of your training. Blueprint Reading: Interpret welding symbols and blueprints to ensure precise setups and welds. Tool Mastery: Utilize a variety of metal finishing tools, including grinders and abrasives, to meet our high standards. Safe Equipment Operation: Operate lifting devices such as cranes, positioners, magnets, and hooks safely and efficiently. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of one year of MIG welding experience is preferred. Skills: Strong attention to detail, steady hand, and a true passion for quality welding work. Physical Stamina: Ability to handle repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm Compensation and Benefits: Competitive Pay: Earn between $21-$24/hr+ based on experience and skills.
