VECRA’s extensive experience with innovative software applications, reporting systems, facilities and supply chain management, program management and staffing support services are always: V igilant * E fficient * C ollaborative * R esponsive * A ccurate JOB DESCRIPTION The SAP Datasphere and SCA Developer will be responsible for SAP Datasphere and SAP Cloud Application (SCA) development, including data modeling, integration, and application deployment. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration with existing SAP landscapes, and providing technical support and documentation. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to work both independently and within a team. The role will involve working onsite at Amtrak, Washington, DC. ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES • Design and develop data models using SAP Datasphere. • Optimize data architecture for performance and scalability. • Integrate data from various sources into SAP Datasphere. • Ensure seamless data flow and consistency across systems. • Configure and customize SAP Datasphere to meet business requirements. • Develop and implement data transformation and processing logic. • Monitor and enhance the performance of data models and queries. • Adhere to all security practices and policies • Perform related duties as directed 2 | P a g e QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIRED SKILLS: Eight (8) or more years of experience in SAP Datasphere development Proven experience with SAP Cloud Application (SCA) development and deployment Strong proficiency in SAP Datasphere, including data modeling, data integration and data flow design Advanced knowledge of common networking protocols and topologies Knowledge of Lifecycle Management processes Knowledge of common enterprise network monitoring and troubleshooting tools Knowledge of Telecommunications Standards, Best Practices, and Solutions Knowledge of Data Center Standards, Best Practices, and Solutions Knowledge of Public Cloud networking Standards, Best Practices, and Solutions Knowledge of Cybersecurity Standards, Best Practices, and Solutions EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
