In the IKEA world, we call this position a Recovery Co-worker Expected Starting Date: 15th April 2024 WHAT WE OFFER • £11.45 basic hourly rate • Living Wage Foundation Employer • 16 hours working 4 days out of 7, including late evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE Here at IKEA - we believe everything should have a second chance in life, especially our products! In this role, you will help to repackage damaged goods so that we can give them a new lease of life. You will also work on rebuilding furniture to sell in our " Circular Hub" area to help us to reduce waste and offer even more affordable products to our customers. We are looking for someone with a 'can do attitude', who can multi-task, be cost conscious and have a passion for being a part of something bigger. This role is physically demanding & involves (safe! ) heavy lifting. Due to health and safety you must be over 18 for this role. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY Your daily tasks include the responsibility to decide and act on how to handle products that have been returned by our customers, that have been damaged in the store or that are not possible to offer to our customers.
