This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Sales Manager, you will oversee the Account Manager team focused on increasing quoting conversion and the Territory Manager team aimed at new customer acquisition and growth. Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform strategies. Lead execution using Traction/EOS and the Four Disciplines of Execution (4DX) to align sales goals. Client Relationship Management (20%): Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Travel to customer locations and attend industry trade shows to maximize sales and relationships. Regularly connect with customers to cultivate and grow business. Team Leadership (30%): Mentor and manage the Account Managers team, providing guidance to drive performance. Establish and enforce sales processes and policies to ensure consistent performance. Monitor and appraise team performance, offering coaching to maximize results. Sales Innovation (10%): Develop innovative sales techniques and processes to enhance team effectiveness. Maintain awareness of market dynamics and manage overlapping customer bases. Identify and implement new technologies to optimize sales processes. Reporting and Analysis (10%): Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to the executive team. Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with finance to ensure sales forecasts align with budgetary goals. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Experience: Leadership or management experience in a sales environment. Proven experience in strategic planning and implementing sales strategies. Strong understanding of sales principles and methodologies. Skills: Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
