Sales Account Specialist LOCATION: Wild Horse Pass Corporate Center COMPENSATION: $37,400-$47,400 plus commission HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week, Full-Time FLSA STATUS: Exempt SUPERVISORY: No ______________________________________________________________________________ Summary: As a Sales Account Specialist, they play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by managing key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and facilitating the successful execution of events. This position requires strong organizational skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both clients and internal teams. Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with event planners, corporate clients, and individual customers. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing personalized service and addressing inquires promptly. Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and budget constraints. Sales Development: Identify sales opportunities and actively prospect new clients through networking, referrals, and industry events. Present tailored event proposals and packages to clients, highlighting the unique features and offerings of our venues and services. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize revenue and ensure profitability. Collaborate with marketing to create and implement effective sales campaigns and promotional activities. Event Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams such as event coordinators, catering staff, and audiovisual technicians to execute flawless events. Assist clients with event planning logistics, including venue selection, room setup, menu customization, and entertainment options. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the event planning process, anticipating clients' needs and addressing any concerns proactively. Conduct site tours and product demonstrations to showcase venue capabilities and amenities. Maintain on-going contact with group representatives to resolve complaints, respond to unforeseen issues, and promote goodwill quickly and effectively. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and event details using CRM software. Generate regular reports on sales performance, event bookings, and clients feedback for management review. Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for business growth and differentiation. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Two (2) years experience in sales or account management within the hospitality, events, or entertainment industry. CPR and First Aid Certification within 90 days of hire. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate client events and meetings. Valid AZ driver's license, provide a 39-month violation-free MVR report. Obtain a Tribal operator license permit at the time of hire. A satisfactory result obtained through a test for illegal drugs. Acknowledge and agree to maintain a drug-free workplace. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred. Proven track record in sales, preferably in the events or hospitality industry. Strong understanding of event planning processes, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual requirements, and logistics. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the value proposition of our offerings effectively. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Self-motivated and results oriented. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and event management tools. The employee occasionally is required to bend, climb, stoop, lift, carry, push, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
