Sales Account Executive- Firebird Motorsports LOCATION: Wild Horse Pass Corporate Center COMPENSATION: $53,100-$62,900 plus commission HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week, Full-Time FLSA STATUS: Exempt SUPERVISORY: Yes ______________________________________________________________________________ Summary: As a Sales Account Executive, they are responsible for driving sales growth and fostering client relationships within the events industry and promoting the event and banquet center services. This role requires a strategic approach to sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering unparalleled customer service. Responsibilities: Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver exceptional service and ensure repeat business. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets. Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their event needs offering tailored solutions. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business. Contact prospective and current customers to solicit sales of company products and services. Event Consultation : Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and budget constraints, offering tailored solutions and creative ideas to bring their vision to life. Proposal Development: Prepare and present comprehensive proposals, including event concepts, budgets, and timelines, that demonstrate the value and uniqueness of our offerings. Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our event capabilities and differentiate us from competitors. Effectively communicate the value proposition of the services to potential clients. Act as on-site manager throughout the work week, and during scheduled events to ensure customer satisfaction and successful event execution. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet both parties' needs and expectations. Event Coordination: Work closely with the events team, catering staff, and other relevant departments to ensure a seamless execution of events. Collaborate with marketing to create and implement effective sales campaigns and promotional activities. Market Research: Stay informed of event and banquet industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth within the events space. Sales Reporting: Track sales performance, pipeline activity, and client interactions using CRM software, providing regular updates and insights to management. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Five (5) years of experience with a proven track record of success in sales within the events industry. CPR and First Aid Certification within 90 days of hire. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for client meetings and events. Valid AZ driver's license, provide a 39-month violation-free MVR report. Obtain a Tribal operator driving permit at the time of hire. A satisfactory result obtained through a test for illegal drugs. Acknowledge and agree to maintain a drug-free workplace. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Event Planning, Marketing, or related field. Strong understanding of event planning processes, logistics, and best practices. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and concepts effectively. Creative and solution-oriented mindset, with a passion for turning client visions into reality. Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles. Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge and experience working with Gila River Indian Community or other Native American Community . Supervisor Responsibility: Oversees the supervision of personnel, which includes hiring, work allocation, training, problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance; provides guidance and feedback for assigned staff. Occasional local day travel, Local travel to managed businesses. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk extended period. The employee occasionally is required to bend, climb, stoop, lift, carry, push, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
