Employbridge Search is currently recruiting for a Safety Manager in Sun Valley CA area. Our client is looking for Safety Manager who will oversee all aspects of safety of the workplace and ensure environmental compliance.RESPONSIBILITIES: * Monitor and ensure the safety of the workplace and environment and comply with relevant laws and regulations. Maintain a healthy work environment * Perform safety audits and inspections, investigating accidents. Identifying and mitigating potential hazards * Conduct safety investigation and audits, reporting incidents, accidents, and near misses * Identify and reduce risks to health and environment. Perform corrective actions implement and train appropriately. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety and environmental documentations * Develop and coordinate training programs to ensure employees develop safe work practices * Provide guidance and support to employees on safety and environmental best practices * Accompanies OSHA compliance officer and other agency agents during inspection and facility walk through * Subject matter expert with government agencies, legal counsel, and cross-functional teams regarding safety and environmental matters * Protecting the company's reputation through compliance with regulations, ethical practices and transparency * Travel to other site locations as neededQUALIFICATIONS: * 5 plus years of experience in a health and safety role within a manufacturing environment * Solid understanding of Safety and HAZMAT Certifications * Understanding of federal and State OSHA regulations and deadlines * Excellent presentation skills both written and verbal * Strong MS Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems * Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving and attention to detail * In accordance with California laws, the expected salary range for this position is $90,000-$100,000/year plus car allowance. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and education
