RemX is seeking an Operations Engineer with experience in the Construction Materials Industry to work with our client in the Katy, TX area. Direct Hire Opportunity! Get in on the ground floor of a company that is gearing up for MASSIVE growth! Ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience working within the construction materials industry with PIR insulation boards. This is a full-time position that will eventually be on-site in the plant once it is completed in Prairie View, TX. (Relocation provided for the right candidate) The Job: Provide support and guidance on all aspects of new construction plant operations to ensure the site meets or exceeds the key performance indicators for safety, quality, and service while minimizing cost, inventory, and waste. Implement programs for continuous improvement and profit management for all operations. * Expected to be the Subject Matter Expert in all things related to PIR insulation boards including but not limited to competitors, vendors, equipment needs, processes, etc. * Work closely with all plant management to monitor and improve the efficiency, output, and safety of the plant. * Manage capital equipment selection, acquisition, and implementation, manufacturing budget and long-range planning, preparation and facility maintenance and enhancements. * Organize the procurement, installation and production of PIR insulation board production line. * Assist in the selection, training, development of direct reports to develop and maintain efficient plant operations. * Create and implement standard operating procedures for the PIR insulation boards production line. * Develop manufacturing instructions, procedures, processes, quality control procedures and production schedules. * Maintain an up to date understanding of competitors products, performance and characteristics. * Serve as the preventative and corrective maintenance expert for the team to come to for guidance and direction. (Mentor new hire engineers/ technicians) * Analyze monthly actions to include labor, expenditures, overtime and collaborate with the management team on areas of improvement. * Responsible for on-the-job and ongoing training for all maintenance employees.Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience * 5+ Years related experience * Experience working with PIR Insulation Boards - formulation and production processes (need a subject matter expert for this role!) * Experience working with PIR production companies. * Ability to work in the Katy, TX/ Prairie View, TX areas (on- site)Salary based on experience.
