Travel Nurse Source is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Mattoon, Illinois, 61938 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 Experience: 2 years of ICU experience License: IL RN License Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: Non-local candidates preferred (more than 50-mile radius) Job Description: - Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care delivery. - Assess the patient's physical and psychosocial status comprehensively, utilizing age-specific data. - Demonstrate accurate assessment skills appropriate to the patient's age. - Perform ongoing assessments and complete required documentation within organizational standards. - Perform and document observations, physical examinations, laboratory/test results, and patient responses to procedural interventions. - Participate in identifying and clarifying patient needs as part of multidisciplinary care planning to achieve optimal patient outcomes. - Assist other staff in the delivery of patient care as appropriate. - Incorporate patient teaching/discharge planning to promote optimal patient outcomes. - Every other weekend is required. Candidates must have a work history, a skills checklist current to one year pertinent to the specialty, and two supervisory references with employment dates listed.
