Based on rounds and resident conditions, you'll request RN assessments as needed Manage infection control and ensuring that our employees understand the importance of compliance with proper procedures and protocols for the health and safety of our elderly residents Communicate with physicians to keep them informed of resident conditions and to coordinate appointments both in the facility and off-site Evaluate the daily staffing needs and assignments and make suggestions if needed Ensure that all reports and forms are completed as required, and participate in care plan meetings as requested What you need as a Unit Manager Licensed as an RN Previous Long-term care experience preferred Previous management experience preferred About our parent company Guardian Healthcare Guardian Healthcare is both our name and our philosophy.
