Travel Nurse Source is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Salem, Massachusetts, 01970 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry I Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days/Eves/Nights Rotate & Every Other Weekend - 12-hour shifts Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience License: Active RN License required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Experience in telemetry monitoring, including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours - Experience with TR Bands - Proficiency in performing cardiac drips and reading telemetry strips Job Description: - Float pool position; must be willing to float to 8 different Medical/Surgical Telemetry units - Responsible for cardiac monitoring, administering cardiac drips, and reading telemetric strips - Provide care to a diverse patient population, including ED border patients, medication administration in acute mental health units, and non-ventilated patients ready for ICU transfer - Maintain a clinician-to-patient ratio of up to 5:1 during days and evenings, and up to 6:1 at night - Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems including EPIC, Omnicell, and Kronos 26068722 EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Adapting to new environments, team dynamics, and patient populations fosters adaptability.
