Travel Nurse Source is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Charlottesville, Virginia, 22903 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Oncology - Stem Cell Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week Experience: Experience with Epic required License: Must have a valid state license by the start date, pending licenses accepted Certifications: ONS certification required; BLS, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Epic experience - ONS certification - BLS, ACLS certifications preferred (not required) - Adherence to floating policy within scope of practice - Flu Vaccine (required; no exemptions) Job Description: - Join the Inpatient Oncology team, specializing in the care of hematology and oncology patients. - Work in a 28-bed adult acute care hematology/oncology unit and a 15-bed intermediate care Stem Cell Transplant Unit. - Engage in both day and night shifts with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 on the general unit and 1:3 in the Stem Cell Transplant Unit due to the higher level of care required. - Rotation includes every other weekend and must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays. - Opportunity to train in both levels of care to gain comprehensive knowledge and experience. - Requirement to have completed the first part of ONS certification upon submission. - New nurses will receive 16 hours of orientation.
