Travel Nurse Source is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Oakland, California, 94611 About The Position Job Title: Maternal Child Health (MCH) Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Critical Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience required. License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Must-Have: Level III Neonatal Intensive Care experience Job Description: - Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill newborns in the NICU. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans. - Monitor and record the vital signs of newborns, reporting any changes. - Administer medications and therapies as prescribed by physicians. - Educate and support families, ensuring they understand the treatments and procedures. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. - Adapt quickly to changing situations in a fast-paced environment.
