Travel Nurse Source is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Brick, New Jersey, 08724 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: NICU Job Duration: 13-week assignment Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts; every 2nd or 3rd weekend required, holidays as needed, on-call requirement: 2 per month Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 1 year of experience in related specialty is required License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: - BLS - AHA - NRP (AHA Only) Must-Have: NICU experience Job Description: - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patients' needs. - Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients through initial and ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions. - Manage care of patients effectively. - Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities. - Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. - Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model. - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 26327645 EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS BLS - AHA Core Competency PALS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Adapting to new environments, team dynamics, and patient populations fosters adaptability.
