Travel Nurse Source is working with Hire Energy Healthcare to find a qualified LTAC RN in Abilene, Texas, 79601 About The Position We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital. In this role, you will provide specialized care to patients with complex, long-term health needs. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make a significant impact on patients requiring extended hospitalization and acute, ongoing medical care. Position : Registered Nurse Location : Abilene, TX Schedule : 6:30am-6:30pm, 6: 30pm-6:30am Duration : 1 2 - Week Contract Unit : LTAC H What You'll Do: As a Travel RN at our LTAC facility, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to medically fragile patients who may be recovering from severe illness, trauma, surgery, or chronic medical conditions. This role requires flexibility, a keen understanding of acute care practices, and the ability to adapt quickly to new environments Responsibilities : Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following LTAC protocols and standards. Monitor and respond to changes in patients' conditions, implementing interventions as needed. Maintain clear, accurate, and timely patient records. Educate patients and their families on the management of ongoing health conditions, treatments, and discharge planning. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, policies, and protocols to maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients.
