Travel Nurse Source is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Oakland, California, 94611 About The Position Job Title: Maternal Child Health (MCH) RN Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery - Critical Need Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12 hrs, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 Experience: Minimum of 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience. License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: ACLS Certification Job Description: - Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients. - Ensure the safe delivery of neonates by actively participating in the birthing process. - Monitor fetal development and maternal well-being throughout labor. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized care plans. - Respond to patient needs during high-risk situations with professional competency. - Maintain an understanding of hospital policies and regulatory standards. - Engage in professional development to stay updated on labor and delivery best practices. - Foster a supportive and empathetic environment for patients and their families. - Contribute to a collaborative team environment and mentor junior staff as needed. - Preferred: A bachelor's degree in nursing or related field and five or more years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery.
