It's an exciting time to come and join the Sepura team. We are on the lookout for a RF Test Engineer to play a supporting role within the RF Team to expand RF and radio test coverage and complete evaluation and characterisation tasks on our mobile and handheld products. As a RF Test engineer, you will support the design engineers in the capturing of component and sub-system RF performance parameters on new radios covering TETRA, LTE, GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GNSS standards. Proving that the designs are fit for purpose across a range of environmental conditions, conducting characterisation campaigns on maturing development hardware, generating test reports and maintaining a database of test results on hardware revisions. You will be responsible for flagging issues captured during test campaigns in Jira and involved in the investigation and debugging of those issues supporting Do Es for investigation and analysis of radio behaviours. As part of a handset or mobile project you will ideally contribute to the development of test scripts to automate our evaluation and testing of new hardware prototypes with a variety of RF test parameters on a number of different test equipment solutions for a number of different radio architectures and supported radio standards e. g. Your Role As part of a project team you will be responsible for supporting the teams efforts in the bring up, evaluation and characterisation on new radio hardware, preparing test campaign plans and executing those plans under the guidance of the project lead and technical authority. You will be involved in testing of components, subsystems and systems, as integration of the radio hardware proceeds, generating test reports and interpreting the data for compliance to specifications.
