RF Environmental Simulation Engine Development Engineers Location: Stevenage Duration: 12 Months Start Date: ASAP HYBRID ROLE : 3 days per week onsite A client based in Stevenage is looking for several RF Environmental Simulation Engine Development Engineers. This will be for an initial 12: month contract. This role is inside IR35 This work involves developing our RF Environmental Simulation model for three early: stage programs. These programs are maturing their RF Seeker design ahead of entering its " D: Phase" The environmental simulation team plays a key part in supplying valid data for the performance testing these designs. The Seeker is a fundamental part of the missile system with functions that include locating the missiles target, processing the information gathered and then providing appropriate inputs to the missile guidance system. The Environmental Simulation team is currently creating high fidelity Matlab/Simulink models and maintaining a Ray tracing engine supplied by OKTAL: SE. The team of engineers need the following skill set: Capable of complex algorithm development Perform model performance backssments Data analysis and Technical report writing Model verification, configuration control and adhere to model release processes This team of engineers will have working knowledge of the following tools and languages: Matlab (v2020a and newer, desirably with Autocode generation experience) CUDA and C++ experience (desirably C++ 14) IBM's Rhapsody and Eclipse (desirable not essential) Jira (desirable not essential) Jenkins for Continuous Integration Testing (desirable not essential).
