Revenue Integrity Coding Auditor

Description:
A company is looking for a Revenue Integrity Facility Coding Auditor to review hospital charges and ensure accurate coding of services provided. Key Responsibilities Review hospital charges against medical records to determine appropriate code assignments (CPT/HCPCS) Understand billing and coding requirements for government and commercial payers Maintain productivity standards and uphold HIPAA regulations Required Qualifications, Training, and Education CPC, CCS, CPC-H (COC), CPMA, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, and/or CCS-P certification Experience in billing, charge documentation, or revenue cycle activities Knowledge of clinical coding (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10) and charging processes Familiarity with CMS guidelines and reimbursement structures Experience with encoder technology and electronic medical record systems
