Reservations Specialist – Full Time - Immediate Hiring Drivergent Transportation is a Metro Detroit school transportation company looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team in transporting students and customers. As a Reservations Specialist for Drivergent Transportation, you will work with our management team to assist our clients transportation needs, and help shape and drive our continued growth strategy and meet/exceed customer service expectations. General Responsibilities Assist customers in making reservations , including the quoting and booking the transportation Provide excellent customer service by being timely with the quote and associated follow-ups Collaborate with other departments to ensure a great customer experience Process reservations and make any necessary modifications Map out and work with dispatch department to ensure accurate and efficient allocation of resources Handle customer inquiries/concerns with professionalism and empathy Assist with post trip processes , including customer follow-up and invoicing Required Education & Experience Minimum 2 years customer service experience. Reservation handling experience a plus High School Diploma or equivalent Some college a plus Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities High proficiency in using computers and programs such as Chrome, Microsoft Excel and Word, Outlook, and Google Earth Experience using QuickBooks Excellent listening and communication skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently or with a team, manage ambiguity and ask for guidance when necessary Excellent customer service skills are required, both written and verbal Location Headquarters (Fraser, MI) Compensation & Benefits $18 - $23 per hour , based on experience Full-Time Paid Time Off (PTO) Health Benefits – after 90 days Medical, Dental and Vision Aflac Supplemental 401k with company-match Schedule: 8 hour shift M-F, with some overtime as needed Weekend support as needed We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
