Repair and Maintenance The beloved Sou'wester Historic Lodge and Vintage Travel Trailer Resort is a hodgepodge of accommodation types including suites, cabins, vintage travel trailers, RV & Camping spaces on the Long Beach Peninsula in historic Seaview, Washington. Sou'wester requires a diverse workforce that can accommodate a multitude of tasks and flexibility within a job position. Maintenance Worker Job Responsibilities: Inspects the buildings, travel trailers, suites, cabins, grounds, and equipment. Handles necessary repairs and maintenance. Installs equipment and appliances. Follows local and state building codes. Complies with all company safety regulations. Keeps a maintenance log and writes shift reports. Report any issues to the maintenance manager or owner. Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion. Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles if needed. Use's Whistle to check tickets or create new ones. Collaborates with the maintenance team and contractors as needed. Reads and follows manuals, blueprints, and other written instructions. Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools. $20-$22 an hour DOE. Maintenance Worker Qualifications and Skills: Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds. Communicates effectively whether verbal, through email, through whistle, and written. Collaborates with maintenance workers, maintenance managers, and contractors. Education and Experience Requirements: At least one year of building maintenance, construction, plumbing, or electrician experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
