Job Title: Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Location: Mid Valley Veterinary Hospital, Van Nuys, CA Job Type: Full-Time About Us: Mid Valley Veterinary Hospital is a busy and well-established veterinary practice that has been serving the community for over 20 years. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional care to pets and fostering a supportive, team-oriented environment for our staff. As a thriving and profitable practice, we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team. Responsibilities: Assist veterinarians during surgeries and medical procedures. Perform routine diagnostic tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and radiography. Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgery. Provide nursing care for hospitalized animals. Prepare and present treatment and surgery estimates to clients. Educate clients on proper pet care and post-operative instructions. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records. Assist with pharmacy duties, including preparing prescriptions. Ensure treatment areas are clean, organized, and properly stocked. Qualifications: Valid Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in [State]. Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience (preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply). Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Compassionate, professional, and committed to high-quality veterinary care. Ability to multi-task and stay organized under pressure.
