Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room Charge Location: Glendale, Wisconsin Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM (40 hours/week) Position Highlights: Manage operations in a facility with 10 operating rooms. Oversee 575-625 surgeries per month, all scheduled (no emergency surgeries). Enjoy a consistent schedule with no weekends, holidays, nights, or on-call shifts. Role Overview: As the Charge Operating Room RN, you will supervise day-to-day activities in the surgical suite, ensuring operational excellence and safety. This role includes managing surgical staff, coordinating resources, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Supervise surgical staff and operations within the operating room. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the surgical suite. Manage resources effectively to ensure optimal patient care and staff efficiency. Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and policies. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Nursing required; Masters degree in a health-related field preferred. Current RN licensure from the WI Board of Nursing required before hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 1 month of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 12 months of hire. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role. Advanced training and competency in orthopedic and spine programs preferred. CNOR certification is preferred but not required.
