Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Location: Spearfish, SD Salary : $61,000.00 to $75,000.00 Shift Times: Rotating shifts, 3 weeks of days (7 AM - 7:30 PM) and 3 weeks of nights (7 PM - 7:30 AM), including 3 call shifts in a 6-week schedule. Job Description: The Medical Surgical RN is a pivotal member of the healthcare team, focused on providing comprehensive, relationship-centered, and compassionate care. This role is suited for both newly graduated and experienced RNs who excel in a fast-paced environment and are committed to improving patient health outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Implement the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Maintain professional nursing standards in accordance with ANA standards and institutional policies. Exercise independent judgment and critical thinking skills to manage patient care. Requirements: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Current RN license as per the South Dakota State Board of Nursing. Preferred one (1+) year Med/Surg experience. Current BLS certification, with additional certifications such as ACLS encouraged.
