Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Location: Lawton, OK Shift Notes: Nights; 12-hour shifts. (1845-0700) Sign-On Bonus: $6,000 Relocation Bonus: $2,000 (Specific conditions apply for eligibility) Salary Range: $30 - $38.82/hour (based on experience, including shift differentials & Clinical Pathway) Position Summary: The Med-Surg Registered Nurse specializes in medical-surgical telemetry, focusing on monitoring patients with complex health conditions such as heart failure, diabetes, and gastrointestinal diseases. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans, assessing patients, making nursing diagnoses, and leading care teams within the clinical setting across a 12-bed unit designed for overflow patients. The typical staffing ratio is 1:4-5, dependent on patient acuity. Responsibilities: Develop and implement total nursing care for patients based on thorough assessments and diagnoses. Provide leadership and collaborate with ancillary nursing staff and other patient care team members. Maintain high standards of professional nursing practice in the clinical environment. Monitor patients using telemetry equipment to track vital signs and physiological parameters. Care for a diverse patient population across all life stages from infants to geriatrics. Qualifications: Registered Nurse license required. Experience in a medical-surgical telemetry environment preferred. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and potentially high-pressure environment. Strong clinical skills with the ability to monitor and care for patients with complex medical conditions.
