Job Title: RN - Med Surg Location: Mayfield, KY 42066 Salary: $71,000 - $91,000 (depending on experience) Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical team in Mayfield, KY. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including patient assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with healthcare teams. This is an excellent opportunity for RNs with long-term career aspirations in nursing who are committed to providing exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities: Deliver patient-centered care in the Medical-Surgical unit by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate patient records. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and families on health conditions, post-discharge care, and preventative measures. Ensure patient safety and adhere to established protocols and standards of care. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing. Must-Haves: RN License for Kentucky: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Kentucky. Education: Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program. BSN is preferred. Career Aspirations: Demonstrated interest in long-term career growth within the nursing profession, with a desire to advance skills and take on additional responsibilities. Qualifications: Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient safety and quality care. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a Medical-Surgical unit or a similar acute care setting. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). BLS/ACLS certification.
