is looking for an experienced Emergency Nurse for Northern Virginia's only Level 1 Trauma Center! Eligible Nurses will qualify for sign on & relocation bonuses. Mid and Night shifts available with weekend rotations and call. During orientation will rotate through all shifts (Days, Mids, and Nights). ER Nurse Responsibilities: Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team. Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner. Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery. ER Nurse Requirements: Experience: Requires a minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting. 2 years Previous Emergency Department experience preferred. Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date. License: Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN. Certification: BLS from American Heart Association CEN/ACLS certification desired Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others Proficient computer skills required.
