General Summary of PositionIV Therapy Team Highlights - Some functions include: IV ultrasound, port access, dressing changes, non-tunnel line pulls upon discharge amongst others IV Therapy RNs don't carry a patient load and float to all units in the hospital Excellent teamwork and collaboration Low associate turnover - Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 10a - 6:30p with occasional variation - MedStar Health Nursing Benefits - Free parking for associates at all 4 Baltimore hospitals System-wide RN referral bonus program - up to $6000 per RN and $4000 per LPN Increased charge, preceptor pay and tuition assistance Relocation assistance up to $5000 if you live 50 miles away from your location Primary Duties and Responsibilities - Minimum Qualifications Education Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing required; bachelors degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing preferred. Bachelor's degree in nursing enrollment required within 12 months of start date and completion within 4 years Experience 1-2 years RN experience required. 2-3 years of RN experience with IV Therapy skills strongly preferred. Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state or jurisdiction of the facility seeking employment Upon Hire required and CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation by completion of introductory period required. ACLS a bonus This position has a hiring range of $35 - $56.91 -
