Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinical Coordinator Location: Claremont, New Hampshire, USA Salary Range: $35.40/hour - $46.75/hour Shift Type: Nights Shift Times: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Hours/Day: 12hours Job Description: Join the dedicated team as a Clinical Coordinator on the Medical Surgical/PCU Unit. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse who excels in inpatient care settings and has the confidence to assist the Nurse Manager in organizing and managing clinical operations. The Clinical Coordinator will coordinate and support the daily activities of the unit, ensuring best practices and compliance with regulations and policies. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a clinical/staff RN with occasional direct patient care responsibilities. Perform charge nurse duties, overseeing LPN, RN, and LNA practice, and delegating care as appropriate. Coordinate employee breaks and create nursing assignments, making adjustments based on patient acuity and unit dynamics. Assist nursing staff with patient care, monitor lab/diagnostic test results, and consult with other departments as needed. Address employee performance concerns and manage conflicts in real-time. Ensure timely and accurate documentation within patient charts. Coordinate unit activities (discharges, admissions, transfers) and communicate bed availability with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a strong clinical background in inpatient care settings. Proven ability to manage and lead a clinical team, with excellent communication and organizational skills. Current nursing license and relevant certifications.
