General Summary of Position Full-time Day Shift and Per Diem-A (6 shifts per 6wk schedule) Day Shift Openings!Unit Highlights Accommodates 48 bedsOperates 12-hour straight shifts, allowing for flexibility in day or night positionsFour self-scheduled weekend shifts and one on-call shift every 6 weeksEmphasis on cardiac care, contributing to the new cardiac program at MedStar Franklin Square Medical CenterAssistance provided to attain proficiency in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). - Key Responsibilities As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.
