Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health Location : Richmond, VA Shift : Night 7PM- 7AM (Rotating Weekends) Shifts Per Week : 3 Scheduled Hours : 36 hours per week Hourly Rate : $31.55 to $45.07, depending on experience and qualifications Job Overview :As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Behavioral Health Unit, you will be part of a dedicated team providing cutting-edge care for patients with behavioral health needs. This full-time night shift role is part of a team that provides inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. You will play a crucial role in patient care, medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring, while ensuring well-coordinated care between various healthcare disciplines. Key Responsibilities : Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor patient vital signs. Utilize computerized documentation systems to monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team. Provide compassionate care in a safe environment, adhering to nonviolent crisis intervention protocols. Qualifications : Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required. Registered Nurse Diploma required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 60 days of employment. Candidates with LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) experience who are interested in behavioral health will be considered.
