Registered Nurse- PRN needed Lifeworks is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that individuals with autism lead healthy and enriched lives by providing essential clinical services across the lifespan. Founded in 2013, Lifeworks provides residential, vocational, and educational opportunities for adults throughout Northeast Ohio with a diagnosis of autism. Among its array of services, the agency offers behavioral health and Applied Behavior Analytic services for individuals of all ages who are on the spectrum. Position Summary: We are currently looking for a flexible, caring, and organized Registered Nurse interested in providing and enhancing their skills in our supported living program. As the Registered Nurse, you will be joining a passionate team dedicated to treating adults on the Autism spectrum. This position will be PRN only! Responsibilities include: Administers and supervises the administration of medication to clients in residential treatment units within the established guidelines. Participates in the implementation of the plan of care for Monarch Lifeworks clients. Makes rounds in the homes and attend to the health care needs of clients. Makes physical assessments of clients, and documents significant findings in the client’s record. Makes appropriate referrals to the pediatrician after screening clients. Teaches clients and staff about health care topics and medications. Utilizes the time log system to document billable hours of direct care. Performs medical treatments on clients when indicated (wound care, etc.). Orients new staff and trains them on policies and procedures. Requirements: A current Ohio RN license.
