Travel Nurse Source is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Salem, Massachusetts, 01970 About The Position Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery/Postpartum Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hours Day/Evening/Night Rotate & Every Other Weekend Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, NRP, EFM (every 2 years) Must-Have: - Labor & Delivery experience - Postpartum experience - Circulate experience - Newborn Care experience Job Description: - Work in a 25-bed Labor & Delivery unit, including Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Newborn care, Operating Rooms, and Recovery Rooms. - Clinician to Patient Ratio: - Labor & Delivery: 1:2-3 for evaluations, 1:1 during active labor, magnesium drip, or epidural cases - Postpartum: 1:3-4 - Serve all patient populations - Familiarity with the EPIC EMR system - Rotating shifts required, including one night of on-call duty (shifts can include 7 am-7 pm, 11 am-11 pm & 7 pm-7 am) - ACLS is preferred This role does not require floating to other units and offers a dynamic work environment within a specialized team dedicated to providing quality care in labor and delivery. 26068682 EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Adapting to new environments, team dynamics, and patient populations fosters adaptability.
