Job DescriptionDescriptionProvides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care. Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes. Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations. Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing. Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes. ACLS/PALS may be required based on clinical area standards. RN supports the Center for Advanced Heart & Vascular Care (CAHVC) located at CMC in Humphrey 2630 in all aspects of ambulatory nursing caring for patients having advanced cardiac imaging including CT and MRI. Will perform cardiac stress testing under supervision of provider. ACLS will be required within 6 months of hire. Caring for cardiac patients experience preferred. Hours: M-F day shift hours with some flexibility with start/end time. Minimum of Diploma/Associate's Degree in nursing from accredited program required. License Requirements: Registered nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio required. Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association or must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
