In this role, you’ll be responsible for t he overall success of NEP’s client growth activities in the Philadelphia market. The focus of new business in the region will be generating incremental margin through both new construction and existing community opportunities with the NEP standard business offering. This position is commission eligible based on sales goal attainment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Overall ownership of the Philadelphia market business development KPIs such as close rate, win/loss analysis, pipeline health, pipeline age, qualification percentages, lead to prospect ratios, etc. Provides stewardship to balance the need for Business Development goal attainment and overall company revenue and profitability metrics. Acts as the external evangelist for NEP product and services in the assigned market. Ability to deeply understand key market dynamics, articulate them to internal stakeholders and influence the development of the correct solution to achieve profitable success in all of NEP’s markets. Deeply understand and articulate sta n dard c om p a ny v al u e pr o posit i on in multiple forms of communications (i.e. verbally, in sales ma t e r i a ls, in c o n tract do c um e nts, etc.). Ability to create, close, and manage fruitful relationships with the highest level of executives within the multi-family industry. QUALIFICATIONS B achelor’s or master’s degree in business or rel a t ed dis c i p li n e w i t h at lea s t five ( 5 ) years bus i ness devel o p m e n t ex p er i e n c e in sales and sales management within the multi-family real estate, or multi-family products/service spaces. Energy expe r ie n c e is desired but not a requirement. P roven a b il i ty to successfully manage a team to ge n e ra t e new bus i n e ss op p or t un i ties i n new mar k e t s a n d m u l t i ple g e ogra p hies de s ire d .
