Based in Chicago, the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for Turf Design is responsible for the overall sales, sales operations, and overall profitability of Turf Design, in the designated region. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Consistently achieve overall regional sales goals including the realization of established revenue, gross margin, and contribution margin goals for AZ, NM, CA, WA, OR, CO, UT, and NV. Develop and execute strategic plans by leveraging technological and financial opportunities, while maximizing and enhancing available assets and resources Recruit, onboard, train, and manage independent representatives within the region Build and maintain strong working relationships with all Reps, to ensure Turf values, strategies, and objectives are communicated and understood Ensure that Rep sales goals and objectives are met by assigning accountabilities with monthly metrics to drive results and manage consistently Keep current with industry trends and best practices to maintain competitive advantage Plan, manage and attend trade shows and conferences where a Turf presence is necessary; plan and assist Reps with their shows. Follow up with them on their shows in order to assess the value to and impact on Turf. Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages all relationships with Independent Representatives. Required Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience required 5+ years of sales experience in the A&D industry is required. Experienced with building and growing new businesses and expanding existing customer portfolio through a Rep-based sales structure Demonstrated ability to drive results and achieve established revenue targets Experience developing organizations and teams that align with the business strategy Competencies / Other Skills and Abilities Business Development: Maintains and expands business portfolio at existing clients while identifying and winning business with new clients Planning and Execution: Aligns company resources to accomplish key objectives and assigns clear accountability for important objectives and achieves meaningful accomplishments.
