Reports To: Shipping/Receiving Supervisor. Description: The Group Leader will ensure that the daily requirements and duties for Warehouse Techs. Are established, implemented and carried out in accordance with written job procedures. Responsibilities: Assist in the training of all Warehouse Technicians. Organize and distribute manpower daily to complete assigned tasks. Maintains accurate records of necessary data. Conduct monthly meetings with Supervisor and fellow Group Leaders. Must be available to work overtime with minimal notice. Seeks better ways of operation to maximize output. Must be available to fill in for absent employees. Provides and maintains a safe and clean working environment following prescribed guidelines. Supports the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and environmental policies. Authorities for an employee are granted by means of work instructions, policies and procedures and/or direction provided by management to meet the requirements of the customer Education: High School Degree, GED or higher. Experience: N/A >Skills : Basic forklift driving proficiency. Training Specific to Position: N/A >Other: Good organizational skills. Good communication skills Capable of working any assigned shift.
