Responsibilities: • Become acquainted with client expectations of housing and finances and highlight properties that meet those expectations• Research local rental rates and calculate costs to determine fair and competitive pricing• Validate all personal references and rental application information• Conduct property showings for potential tenants and provide detailed information about available rental units.• Negotiate lease terms and contracts with prospective tenants in alignment with company policies and legal requirements.• Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting property inspections and handling security deposit refunds.• Utilize marketing strategies to attract new tenants and maintain high occupancy rates for rental properties.• Stay updated on local rental market trends and competitor activities to recommend competitive rental prices and identify growth opportunities. Qualifications: • A proven record of sales experience and success• Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel and Publisher• Working knowledge of real estate law and leasing practices• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal• To qualify, you must agree to a commission-only compensation package • 2+ years of experience in real estate industry• Active Real Estate License• Demonstrated leasing experience• Authorization to work in the US• Proficiency in marketing and lead generation Compensation: $150,000+ yearly commission at plan earnings About Company: BRUMA Stands for BRonx Upper MAnhattan; our focus area.
