Ask about our sign-on bonus package - up to $30,000! - Position Highlights: Sign-On Package total of up to $30,000! Student Loan Repayment: This position may be eligible for -Avera's -Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Coordinates and performs a variety of diagnostic procedures in general radiology. Job Summary The Radiology Technologist is responsible for operating radiologic equipment to obtain diagnostic images as directed by physicians and performing routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. Education and/or Experience Associate's degree in Radiology is required. License/Certification/Registration A.R.R.T. registration IA permit to practice BLS is required within six months of employment. Completion of the Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter. Certification in one radiology modality. - i.e. Mammo, CT, MRI is preferred. Work Schedule Varied Shifts; 72 hours 2 weeks 8 or 9-hour -days Starting times vary depending on shift rotation and call schedule Occasional weekend (Weekend call rotation -- approximately 1 every 5) - Occasional holiday -(Holiday call rotation - approximately 1 every 5) - Occasional call time (Call rotation - approximately 1 every 5) - Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience. $25.00 - $37.75 per hour -
