Qualified external candidates only Job Summary: Under the direction of the Radiology Director and Manager produces quality diagnostic medical radiographs to ensure proper diagnosis and quality patient care. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Demonstrates the skills to produce quality radiographs. A) Produces quality images by using appropriate exposure technique to ensure proper penetration of the area being radio graphed. B) Demonstrates the proper use of metal markers and or placement of markers electronically. C) Document an appropriate patient history containing pertinent patient information regarding their condition and including patient limitations. Perform OR/Surgery cases using C-arms and portable machines efficiently. Observes established departmental policies, safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Job Specifications MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of a Radiology Technology program. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: One year Radiology Technology experience preferred but new grads welcome REQUIRED COURSE: ARRT and CPR preferred The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
