Quality Control Manager (working within a Furniture Manufacturing site) (hands on role) GBP32: GBP35,000 one role available : 8.30:5pm occasionally work for home after your first three months of training based near swindon i want to hear from individuals who have experience within the furniture industry handling quality aspects of self building flat packs together to check on all quality aspects Purpose of the role: You will be working on the largest retail account, handling quality issues that you cant always see, so viewing these from afar via teams etc might need to happen, you need to be organised and capable of managing many quality issues at once. You need to ensure you can read and interpret technical design packages and manufacturing details to allow full and accurate quality control inspection to be carried out, as at times You will be working in the warehouse putting together some fixtures (furniture, mannequins etc ) that have been created outside the country. Training is exceptional as you will be trained and supported by other internals currently working to support the accounts and the successful person will get to develop further within the company, so the potential is so great for progression. To ensure that all product ordered by the company is fit for purpose, consistent and meets both internal standards and specification, but also the expectations of our clients. This includes any legal and statutory regulation compliance. To develop and maintain current quality control standards and actively improve these. To act as the first point of contact for quality issues for the company supply and manufacturing base and actively improve the supplier and manufacturing standards without incurring any increase in product or material cost. Actively maintain and build supplier relations to increase product quality. To conduct quality control checks in line with the company standards for any product and/ or material required. To be.
