Your Job In the UK, Guardian Glass is continually looking for talented individuals to help them continue their growth and presence in the regional market. All UKmanufacturing is based at the plant in Goole, East Yorkshire which has recently made significant investment in a new furnace which uses advanced technology and will secure glass manufacture at the site for the next 20 years. The plant can produce some of the most advanced and innovative energy saving architectural glass on the market today. The plant operates 24/7 at the cutting edge of manufacturing technology, processes, and methods. Due to internal promotion, we are looking for a Quality Manager who has the vision and drive to lead the plant through its next phase of transformation in process and product quality. The role sits within the Senior Leadership Team which develops and leads the overall direction of the plant. Experience of quality engineering or management in a process driven manufacturing environment is a key requirement. Our Team We are a principled based company that is successful due to teamwork and the fact that our people want to contribute to business success every day. What You Will Do Algin the plant to our quality vision and implement strategies to improve the quality capability of our people and processes. Ensure manufacturing processes are capable and reliable in achieving quality requirements for compliance and customer needs. Where there are gaps develop roadmaps, projects and action plans to close them. Understand customer requirements and be the customer voice to plant operations, resolve customer product issues efficiently and effectively. Own the management of change process and ensure it delivers value. Be the plant subject matter expert on quality management tools such as FMEA, 8D etc. Own the Quality Management System and ensure the plant continues with its ISO9001 certification.
