Quality Manager : Aerospace, Industry and Metals : Permanent : Attractive : Berkshire A Quality Manager is required to join a leading Aerospace, Industry and Metals company that specialises in stock management to provide materials of the highest quality to various industry sectors including Aerospace. The Quality Manager will work with the Quality Management System which forms an essential role. It both defines the Quality Expectations and provides the tools for quantitative analysis of performance against these goals. The Quality Manager will be involved with Management reviews which are held on a regular basis to identify quality improvements that can be made. The successful Quality Manager will be joining a family run business and will report to the Regional Director. Quality Manager will be responsible for the following: Upgrading current quality system to be fully compliant with Aerospace standards. Instigate audits and approvals by relevant third party within agreed time frames. Day to day approval maintenance, implementation and internal audits. Being the 1st line support for customer audit, query, investigation and inspection. Adhere to the regulatory compliance to meet the quality standards. Liaison with Senior Management on quality issues and all related compliance requirements. Adapt Quality Management System for the business, to become Aerospace compliant. Develop inspection methods to analyse product quality. Carefully maintain complaint and nonconformance (8D, AS9100/9120). Manage QA documentation to final release under AS standards. Collaborate and identify branch training needs and take action to ensure compliance. Respond to major customer complaints putting in containment actions. Report against quality metrics monthly : errors, complaints, credits and NPS score. Update quality documentation and communicate to carry forward lessons learned.
