We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, ambitious, and enthusiastic individual to join our team of Quality Inspectors! As a Quality Inspector, you will examine machined products for defects and /or ensure parts meet the required specifications according to the blueprint. Responsibilities: Inspect machined and sheet metal parts and assemblies, first piece set-ups, and in-process parts. Final inspection of all sub-assemblies. Final inspection of all completed parts. Maintain calibration program. Select a sample of parts, visually and physically examine the sample using CMM and comparing to blueprint specifications. Read detailed blueprints. Informs and works with various departments when the percentage of defects exceeds allowable limits to correct deficiencies. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; preferred completion of related trade school program Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing inspection capacity 3 or more years related experience preferred Experience in job shop environment required Touch probe CMM experience Machining experience a plus Proven experience using various CMM CMM programming experience a plus Ability to read detailed blueprints. Strong math skills. Knowledge of AS 9102 FAI requirements GD&T applications Ability to read and comprehend Defense, Aerospace, Medical and Commercial requirements and specifications All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
