As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and driven Lead Quality Engineer to join our team. About the Role: As a Lead Quality Engineer , you will be responsible for directing and managing all Quality Assurance, Safety and Hazards Analysis aspects of several Programs from initial customer interaction through development, procurement, manufacturing, test, and final delivery of Composite, primarily Composite Cases supporting the Aerospace Industry.This position requires an independent, self-motivated, highly skilled Engineer with experience and extensive knowledge of Quality in a manufacturing facility to manage and oversee manufactured product with minimal oversight and guidance on timelines shorter than usual in the industry.This position is on-site at a Composite Manufacturing Facility with some remote work and travel (10-25%). Lead Quality Engineer Ability to develop, plan, and implement quality strategies, methods, and systems for product supporting several programs and ensuring Government contract compliance, as applicable. Position is integral with the on-site Composite Manufacturing Team and the remote program office. Support project planning to include personnel assignments, work efforts, customer requirements, deliverables development, and tracking. Support Program Office on day-to-day activities of the program team, including tracking action items, status reports, customer interactions, and associated corporate taskings. Support defined supply chain management activities related to specific program procurements, including receiving inspection and potential inventory management. Create/Review Manufacture Work Instructions. Coordinate and track nonconformances, lead root cause analysis/investigations and champion "Continuous Improvement". SAFETY Ensure strict compliance with defense industry regulations through a proactive and informed approach, across the facility. Efficiently manage safety incidents with insightful solutions management, creating an environment where every challenge is an opportunity to strengthen our safety protocols. HAZARDS ANALYSIS Conduct thorough hazard analyses, including: Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP): Identify deviations from normal operation. Fault Tree Analyses (FTA): Analyze failure modes and their consequences. Evaluate severity, likelihood, and potential impact of each hazard. QUALIFICATIONS B.S. in Engineering or Sciences with minimum 5 years of experience. M.S. in Engineering or Sciences may substitute for years of experience. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
