Job Title: Quality Control Associaite Job Location: San Clemente, CA Length: 3 month contract Job Description The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for in-plant process testing and compliance to standards using Clients quality and food safety policy. Perform tests of the production operations and equipment to ensure our products conform to specifications Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actions Monitor the quality of the product manufactured and inspect process controls points Reject or retain substandard products that fall outside of defined tolerances Responsible for timely completion and accuracy of paperwork May use computer software and electronic equipment to enter data Establish, maintain and promote good communications with all departments Performs other tasks and duties as needed Reject or retain substandard products that fall outside of defined tolerances Responsible for timely completion and accuracy of paperwork May use computer software and electronic equipment to enter data Establish, maintain and promote good communications with all departments Performs other tasks and duties as needed Skills and Requirements Quality Control environment is preferred. Experience working in a food manufacturing environment is preferred. Able to utilize standard processes, procedures, and equipment. Prior experience with HACCP a plus Able to perform essential math functions, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. Experience / Education General high school degree/GED or equivalent preferred Prior work in a related field would be an advantage. Certificate in Food Handling, Culinary Arts, or other related training or education is helpful. Must be 18 or older to apply as required for machinery and/or equipment utilization
