So what will you actually be doing? The purpose of this position is to support the day-to-day Quality Control requirements in support of the Quality Management System and act as a liaison between the QC inspectors and Quality Manager. A Quality Inspection Team Lead's daily tasks will involve: Demonstrated understanding of all facility policies relate to security, privacy, safety and general work practices Demonstrated understanding of all quality procedures Understands safety policies and demonstrates safe work practices at all times. Supports safety inspections and safety walks at the direction of the Manager Actively works with production team leads to resolve identified nonconformities Coaches teammates and provides training to employees Actively monitor product for conformity based on Job Specific Work Instructions and Control Plans. Actively monitor print, insert, and product quality: identify categories of non-conformances specific to print identify categories of non-conformances specific to inserting identify categories of non-conformances specific to mail Actively follow job quality through the end-to-end production flow of mail and print-on-demand products. Communicate identified non-conformances to the designated authority and escalate if necessary. Participate in problem resolution, where appropriate. Develop and understanding of the manufacturing equipment through training and awareness. Monitor equipment for defects and report to management. Conduct proofreading and proof documents for release during product testing phases. Document non-conformances using prescribed forms and procedures. Balance (verify count) jobs by cross-referencing serial codes and performing basic mathematical calculations. Record and verify work hours daily in the payroll system via time clock Participate fully in non-conformance investigations initiated by the corrective action process. Assist in the development of procedures, work instructions and quality system documents. Support management in data collection, entry, and analysis Participate in team and operations meetings as requested. Cross train in related disciplines to develop transferable skills Report all safety incidents, injuries and near misses immediately Report any potential violations of security or privacy rules Intermediate to advanced knowledge and understanding of mail handling and metering processes This job necessitates a high-level of attention to detail and expertise to stay focused in a dynamic environment. The following is required: Min of 6 mons customer service related skills Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills required (Ms word, Ms excel and PowerPoint preferred) High-school diploma or equivalent (GED) required You will be required to submit to pre-employment checks as a condition of employment, to the max extent permitted by applicable law. You will have to sign necessary consents to submit to the pre-employment checks. Technical Requirements: Must possess the expertise to read and understand written documents as they pertain to the Quality Management System. General PC background required. Basic math skills; add, subtract, multiply and divide Possess the expertise to use various measuring tools and templates Excellent communication abilities. Must have background significant background as an advanced operator or previous background managing teams Preferred Background: Quality Audit background desired. Min of 2-4 production related skills preferred.
