Job Summary: The Quality Control Specialist will directly support the Quality Control Lead at DreamFields Massachusetts in Tyngsborough, MA. This position will work cross-functionally with production, compliance, processing, and inventory departments . Duties/Responsibilities: Inspect s products before, during, and/or after the manufacturing process to ensure outgoing products align with company and legal standards. Accurately track s and report s quality-related data in real-time. Ensure s compliance with Massachusetts's cannabis regulations as well as DreamFields ' internal specifications, policies, and procedures . Internally communicate s quality or compliance related issues and guidance in a clear, effective, urgent manner . Assist s with identifying , implementing, documenting, and following up on corrective actions as needed . Maintain s records of defective materials . Collaborate s with team members to contribute to error reduction and process enhancements . Review s and follow s standard operating procedures (SOPs) . Identif ies opportunities for continuous improvement and support revisions as needed . Conduct s or support s internal audits to identify , track, and correct product-related deficiencies . Ensure s accurate and thorough record keeping . E xecute s product tests or experiments and reports resulting data necessary to identify solutions in line with company objectives . Required Skills/Abilities: Must be at least 21 years of age . Meticulous attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc ) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness, organization, and sanitary work environment standards Skilled at proposing and implementing solutions to manufacturing defects in a fast-paced production environment Must be flexible and adaptable Must have reliable transportation Working k nowledge of workplace health and safety standards Knowledge of the environmental and other manufacturing conditions necessary to maintain or achieve high-quality cannabis products - preferred Education and Experience: HS Diploma or GED Experience in a quality control or quality assurance role - preferred Experience with the Plan-Do-Act-Check (PDAC) cycle as a means of solving problems and managing change/improvement of processes and product s - preferred EEOC: DreamFields is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
