Quality Control Operative Based Nr Thetford Salary GBP26,812.50 per annum Monday : Friday: : 2200, 37.5 hours per week Ref: J37372 An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in our clients manufacturing plant Nr Thetford. In this role the Quality Control Operative will be responsible for: Undertaking material testing in a lab and completing data entry for inbound raw materials. Quality checking in process production materials Ensuring the processed aggregate leaving site is correct Providing feedback to the Senior Shift Supervisor Duties will include regular sampling of the aggregate from the production line and storage bays and testing to ensure the product meets company specifications. The role will also include the management of all deliveries, collections and all traffic movements on the site ensuring that all associated paperwork is accurately completed. Applicants will need proven experience and the appropriate licences to operate front end loaders. Whilst this role will mainly be quality control, general site operative cover/inclusion is required as part of the team to assist with shift tasks, especially during the late shift when there is less lab work required. Previous experience in a quality control, material testing or laboratory role is essential as well as computer literacy and a high level of numeracy and literacy skills.
